Homeschooling my daughter for her kindergarten year has been fun. To keep our lessons interesting, I’ve been planning her year and her activities seasonally.

She is super excited for Valentine’s Day because of all things hearts, pink and candy.

While these math worksheets don’t have candy they are big on hearts and pink, so she will definitely consider it a win!

Valentine’s Day Printables for Math

This packet includes 6 pages of activities for kindergarten students including:

  • tens frames
  • missing numbers activity
  • heart counting
  • addition pages

Fun Tens Frame Activity

Part of my strategy for homeschooling my daughter has been to use tangibles in math wherever possible.

To make math extra fun for her sometimes, I will add a sweet treat into the mix. For a Valentine’s Day twist, I will have her use the Valentine’s Day M&M’s or conversation hearts to fill in the tens frames.

Number Order

One of my favorite parts of this printable packet is the number order page. Those tricky preteen numbers can be tough for littles to grasp and this is fun reinforcement.

This Valentine math packet also includes tracing sheets to help them master the slippery numbers like 2 and 5. Fab for reinforcing handwriting, number recognition and fine motor skills.
