Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients for Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Butter Apples Cinnamon Cinnamon Rolls

Cook the apple pie filling.

Melt the butter in a skillet on the stove. Add the diced apples and cinnamon. Cook, stirring often, until just slightly softened.

Get the Cinnamon Rolls Ready.

Once the apples are cooked, let them cool until you can easily work with them. Meanwhile set your cinnamon rolls out in a cake pan or pie plate and pull them apart slightly to make room for the filling.

Stuff the Cinnamon Rolls with Apple Filling.

Stuff the cooled pie filling into the spaces between the dough. 

Bake the Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls.

Bake the cinnamon rolls until the tops of the rolls are golden brown. Then remove from the oven.

Frost the rolls.

After the rolls have cooled just slightly spread the frosting from the package over the cinnamon rolls.
