Ingredients and Kitchen Supplies
Here’s what you want to use to make our non alcoholic Christmas punch recipe:
- Orange Juice – You can use whatever variety you have on hand, but a regular orange juice works well.
- Cran-Ponegranate Juice – You can typically find the combination of cranberry juice and ponegranate juice by Ocean Spray. You could also use a mix of both juices if you like.
- Ginger Ale – You could also use lemon-lime soda (also known as Sprite in this house).
- Garnishment – To decorate the pitcher and glasses, we use rosemary, orange slices, and cranberries.
You really should just have a pitcher and measuring cups to make the Christmas punch.
How to Make Our Non Alcoholic Christmas Punch Recipe
1. Gather and measure your juices.
This recipe is super easy to make.
Measure out 3 cups of orange juice and 3 cups of cran-pomegranate juice.
Pour them into a large pitcher.
Measure out 2 cups of ginger ale and pour it ito the pitcher.
2. Add garnishments and serve.
Add in several twigs of rosemary and about a cup of cranberries to the pitcher.
Give it all a stir and then pour into individual glasses.
You can pour over ice if you like or serve without ice.
Serving
Serve Christmas punch alongside your holiday dinner, with appetizers, or whenever you want a festive drink to celebrate the season.
You can pour it over ice or serve it chilled from the fridge.
If you find it too flat, pour in a bit more ginger ale to each glass or the pitcher.
Storing
To store non alcoholic Christmas punch, either use a sealable pitcher or cover your pitcher tightly with cling wrap.
You can try to freeze the Christmas punch if you like.
Allow frozen punch to thaw in the fridge, do no microwave.
If you store the punch for a long time, you may want to add a bit of fresh ginger ale or lemon-lime soda to give it a bit more bubbling action.
Tips and Tricks
- This is a cold punch, so it is best to store all the ingredients in the fridge prior to making it. You can also add ice to either your glasses or pitcher.
- Don’t have rosemary or fresh cranberries for garnish? Don’t worry! They do not really add much flavor to the punch.
- If you want more bubbles, you can add extra ginger ale. If you don’t want any, you can skip the soda.
