How to cook bacon in a convection oven
1. Prepare the oven and line the cookie sheet.
Preheat the convection oven to 425.
Take the foil and line every cookie sheet you plan to use. Obviously, larger sheets can fit more bacon, so select accordingly.
Place the cooking rack on the foil lined sheets.
2. Lay out the bacon.
Place the bacon on the cooking racks leaving just a bit of space between each strip. You can add as many strips as you can fit per sheet based on your needs. It will not change cooking time.
3. Bake the bacon.
Place the bacon in the oven.
For thick cut bacon:
- cook the bacon for 10 minutes for crispy
- cook it for 15 minutes for extra crispy
You can add more or less time based on your desired doneness level.
