Ingredients for sweet potato fries: sweet potatoes, olive oil, spices

Sweet potatoes Olive oil Salt and pepper Seasoning of your choosing (optional)

Cut the pointed ends off of the sweet potato.

Start by cutting off the pointy ends and any knobs or eyes. Discard the ends of the potatoes.

Now cut the potato in half.

Once you've cut the ends off, cut the sweet potato in half. Place the flat side down.

Make roughly 1/4 inch to 1/2 thick slices in the sweet potato.

Once you've cut the sweet potato in half and placed the cut side down, cut it into equally thick slices.

Cut the slices in half or thirds to make fries.

Next cut the slices into thirds or fourths depending on the size of your potato and preferences.

Toss the cut sweet potato fries with seasoning.

Add the cut fries into a bowl and toss them with olive oil, salt, pepper, and other seasonings if desired.

Pour the fries out onto a baking sheet lined with foil and sprayed with nonstick spray. Bake, flipping once.
