Easy Cinnamon Ornaments
Gather supplies
To make cinnamon ornaments : ground cinnamon applesauce rolling pin a straw a cookie tray foil paint and paintbrush ribbon or string
Make the dough
Mix together the cinnamon and the applesauce until it forms a claylike consistency.
Roll out the dough
Roll out the dough on parchment paper or foil until it is about 1/3-1/4 inch thick.
Cut out ornaments.
After you've rolled the dough out, use cookie cutters to cut shapes out of it. Transfer the cut shapes onto a sheet pan lined with aluminum foil.
Poke the holes.
Use a straw to poke holes in the cinnamon ornaments to thread twine or string through. Then bake in the oven until done.
Decorate.
Let cool and paint if desired.
