Ingredients for Vanilla Simple Syrup

Sugar Water Vanilla

Dissolve the sugar.

Add the sugar and water to a saucepan set over medium heat. Cook until the sugar dissolves.

Add the vanilla.

Remove the simple syrup from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract.

Store the vanilla simple syrup.

Pour the vanilla simple syrup into a jar, put the lid on and refrigerate it for use in baked goods or drinks.
