Oven Dried Orange Slice Ornaments

Oranges Parchment Paper Baking Sheet Knife and cutting board Twine

Thinly slice the oranges.

Slice the oranges to more or less an equal thickness.

Pat them dry.

Stack the orange slices on paper towel lined plates with paper towels in between each layer. Gently press down to release extra moisture.

Spread out the orange slices.

Line a baking sheet or sheets with parchment paper. Spread the oranges out on top of the baking sheet.

Bake the orange slices.

Put the orange slices in a warm oven. Bake them , flipping them over ever 30 minutes or so until they are dry.

Let the oranges cool.

Let the oranges sit and cool for at least 30 minutes so you can safely handle them.

Poke a hole in the orange.
