Add all the ingredients for fettuccine alfredo to the Instant Pot except the cheese and noodles.

Add the cream sauce ingredients to the Instant Pot.

Add the water, wine, heavy cream, butter, and pressed garlic to the inner liner of the Instant Pot and stir it together.

Make sure to crisscross the fettuccine noodles in the pot so they don't stick.

Add the fettuccine noodles to the Instant Pot.

Add halved noodles to the liquid, criss crossing them over each other. Criss cross them on top of each other so they form an x.

After pressure cooking, the sauce will still be thin. Don't worry though!

Pressure cook the fettuccine.

Secure the lid on the pot, making sure the valve is sealed. Pressure cook followed by a short natural release. Then remove the lid.

Add the cheese to the sauce and stir!

Stir in the cheese.

After you open the pot, the Alfredo sauce will be thin. Stir in the cheese and watch it thicken up nicely! Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the Instant Pot fettuccine Alfredo hot with more cheese on top and fresh herbs if desired. Enjoy!
