Panzanella Caprese (Italian Bread Salad)

Ingredients for Panzanella Caprese

Tomatoes Mozzarella Basil Bread Olive Oil Seasoning Balsamic vinegar Honey

Halve the tomatoes and cube the bread.

Before you assemble the salad, cut the cherry tomatoes in half and cut the bread into 1" cubes. Toast the bread cubes in a hot oven.

Assemble the salad.

Toss the tomatoes, mozzarella, basil and bread together in a bowl or serving platter.

Make the dressing.

Whisk the honey and balsamic together in a saucepan. 

Reduce it.

Cook the dressing down until it reduces and coats a spoon. Drizzle it over the salad.
