Apple Crumble
If cozy comfort was a dessert, it would be this apple crumble recipe with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples under a buttery, golden topping. It’s the kind of treat that makes your kitchen smell amazing and begs for a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

teaspoon
baking powder
3/4
cups
brown sugar
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1
stick
butter
(8 tablespoons)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Wash and cut your apples into smaller cubes. You can peel the apples if you like, but you do not have to.
Place the cut apples into a large bowl and then add the lemon juice, brown sugar, cinnamon, and corn starch to the bowl and mix to combine.
Spray a 9x13 or similar sized baking dish with non-stick spray and pour the prepared apples into it.
Set aside to prepare the crumble topping.
In a small bowl, gently whisk to combine the crumble dry ingredients and melt the butter in the microwave or stove top.
Pour the butter over the dry ingredients and mix to create a thick, chunky paste.
Spread the topping evenly over the top of the apples. You will notice some small gaps and holes. The topping does not fully cover the apples.
Place the apple crumble into the oven and bake, uncovered, for about 40 to 50 minutes.
The apple crumble is ready when the top is golden brown and the middle and sides are bubbly.
Allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
