Blueberry Compote
A simple blueberry compote that comes together in a few minutes. It makes an excellent topping for waffles, pancakes, cheesecakes, and more.

1 small pot
1 set of measuring cups
1 mixing spoon
- 2 cups blueberries
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Rinse the blueberries and add them to your pot.
Pour the water and sugar into the pot and heat over low to medium-low heat.
Stir frequently, allowing the sugar to dissovle.
Allow to come to a simmer and remove from heat when most of the blueberries have burst and the water and blueberries have.a deep purple color.
Once you take the compote off heat, stir in the vanilla extract.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before storing or serving.
