Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Measure out all the spices and mix them in a small bowl or shake them together in a sealed spice jar.
  • Add to your favorite recipes. This makes enough for about 4 pounds of chicken wings.

Notes

This recipe coats 4 pounds of wings.
To use the hot wing rub, pat the wings dry and toss them with the rub to coat them. Bake the wings on a cookie rack over a cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 250 followed by 40 minutes at 425.
Toss them with your favorite wing sauce.
