- 2 flour tortilla shells
- 1/2 cup Mexican or cheddar cheese
- 3 teaspoons olive oil or butter
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Add in the olive oil or butter and coat the pan.
Place a single tortilla shell into the skillet.
Sprinkle the cheese evenly over top and cover with the second tortilla shell.
Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the bottom becomes golden brown.
Carefully flip and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes or until the bottom turns golden brown.
Remove from the skillet and allow to cool for about a minute before slicing and serving.
