8-10peaches(or about two drained cans of peaches)
1.5cupsbrown sugar(divided into 1 cup and 1/2 cup
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/2tablespoonground cinnamon(optional)
1tablespooncorn starch
1boxyellow cake mix
1stickbutter(8 tablespoons)
Instructions
Peel and cut the peaches into slices. If using canned peaches, drain the cans.
Toss the sliced peaches with 1 cup of brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and the corn starch.
Spread the peach mixture out in a 9x13" casserole dish sprayed with nonstick spray.
In a separate bowl, mix together the cake mix, the remaining half cup of brown sugar, and a stick of melted butter until it forms clumps that look like wet sand.
Spread the cake mix mixture over the peaches in an even layer.
Bake at 350 for x minutes.
