For Peach Simple Syrup

water

Instructions
If you make your own peach simple syrup, combine one cup of sugar with one cup of water in a small sauce pan set over medium low heat.
Bring to simmer and stir until all the sugar dissolves.
Add in peeled and diced peaches once the sugar dissolves.
Simmer for about 10 minutes and then use a strainer to remove the peaches and collect the syrup.
Allow the syrup to come to room temperature before making the sangria.
Wash and cut your peaches into slices, removing any bruised areas.
Place the peaches in your pitcher and then pour in the wine, peach simple syrup, and white rum.
Mix it quickly and then let rest for at least 30 minutes before serving.
When serving, pour glasses about 2/3s to 3/4s full and then top off with Sprite.
