Oreo Smores (Smoreos)- 2 Ways

Oreo smores combines the delicious flavor of smores with Oreo cookies. It is a family favorite and one the kids look forward to every time we have them.

Equipment

  • 1 cookie sheet
  • 1 spatula

Ingredients

  • 16 Oreo cookies
  • 8 large marshmallows
  • 8 rectangles milk chocolate

Instructions

Option 1: Bake

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  • As your oven heats, arrange 8 Oreos on a cookie sheet.
  • Place a rectangle of Hershey's milk chocolate on top of each Oreo.
  • Place a single, large marshmallow on top of each chocolate piece, flat side down.
  • Carefully put the cookie sheet into the oven and bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until the marshmallows turn golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven, use the remaining cookies to top the smores and serve immediately.

Option 2: Broil

  • Preheat your broiler and put the oven rack at the second highest position.
  • As the broiler heats, arrange 8 Oreos on a cookie sheet.
  • Place a rectangle of Hershey's milk chocolate on top of each Oreo.
  • Place a single, large marshmallow on top of each chocolate piece, flat side down.
  • Carefully place the cookie sheet under the broiler.
  • Keep an eye on the marshmallows and cook for about 30 seconds or until the marshmallows start to brown and char.
  • Remove the cookie sheet from the oven, turn off the broiler, and top each smore with the remaining cookies.
  • Serve immediately.
