Ingredients

For the Dressing

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 cup dijon mustard
  • 1/8 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup parmesand cheese
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Croutons

  • 1/2 loaf Italian, French, or Ciabatta bread
  • 1/8 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1.5 tablespoons parmesan cheese

For the Salad

  • 1 head romain lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded or grate parm cheese

Instructions

For the Caear dressing

  • Combine all the ingredients for the dressing in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix until well-combined and then cover and allow to rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.

For the croutons

  • Cut the bread into small cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until well coated.
  • Add in the parmesan cheese and toss until combined.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake for about 6 to 8 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before making the Caesar salad

For the Caesar salad

  • Rinse, dry, and cut or pull the lettuce into smaller more managable pieces.
  • Pour the dressing on the greens and toss in the croutons.
  • Toss with tongs to combine.
  • Serve with more cheese on top, a side of bread, or as part of your favorite meal.
