For the Dressing
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/8 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 cup dijon mustard
- 1/8 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup parmesand cheese
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Croutons
- 1/2 loaf Italian, French, or Ciabatta bread
- 1/8 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1.5 tablespoons parmesan cheese
For the Salad
- 1 head romain lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded or grate parm cheese
For the croutons
Cut the bread into small cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until well coated.
Add in the parmesan cheese and toss until combined.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake for about 6 to 8 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
Allow to cool before making the Caesar salad
For the Caesar salad
Rinse, dry, and cut or pull the lettuce into smaller more managable pieces.
Pour the dressing on the greens and toss in the croutons.
Toss with tongs to combine.
Serve with more cheese on top, a side of bread, or as part of your favorite meal.
