Easy homemade pigs in a blanket are a classic appetizer for both fancy and casual occassions alike. Ready in minutes, you can easily enjoy them as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 14 ounce package of lil smokers or hot dogs
  • 8 ounce package of crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees or the indicated temperature on the package of crescent rolls or pie dough.
  • Open the package of hot dogs and crescent rolls.
  • Unroll the crescent roll sheet, doing your best to keep it together.
  • Place a hot dog so a small part of the tip is over the edge of the dough.
  • Cut a strip of dough so that you can fully wrap the hot dog once.
  • Repeat until you have covered all the hot dogs with a blanket of dough with the tips exposed. (You will likely have extra dough)
  • Place the rolled hot dogs on a cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the dough turns golden brown.
  • Serve fresh from the oven with your favorite condiments.
