Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Prepare your spaghetti according to the package instructions.
  • In the last minute or two that the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes and sautee for about 1 minutes or until fragrant.
  • Add the spaghetti directly from the pot of water and reduce heat to medium low.
  • Toss and cook the spaghetti with olive oil and garlic for about 2 minutes before removing from heat and serving with cheese or fresh basil on top.
