- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic
- 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Prepare your spaghetti according to the package instructions.
In the last minute or two that the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add in the garlic and red pepper flakes and sautee for about 1 minutes or until fragrant.
Add the spaghetti directly from the pot of water and reduce heat to medium low.
Toss and cook the spaghetti with olive oil and garlic for about 2 minutes before removing from heat and serving with cheese or fresh basil on top.
