4teaspoonsburger seasoning(chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, sea salt, and onion powder)
Instructions
Add the ground sirloin and burger seasoning to a medium mixing bowl.
Using your hands, mix the seasoning into the meat until well combined.
Roughly divide the ground meat into 4.
Roll each section into balls and then flatten them to form patties.
Heat a pan over medium high heat and add the patties.
For well done, cook each side for about 4 to 6 minutes. (The burgers are considered well done and safe to eat when it reaches 160 on the inside. Lower temperatures are for rare to medium doneness.)
If you want to add cheese, remove the pan from heat and place a slice of cheese over the patties and then cover with a lid.
Serve on buns with your favorite fixings.
Baking in the oven
Preheat your oven to 425.
Place the patties on a baking sheet and place in the oven.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160.
